(01/31/2012) State Deputy Mark Roth informs us that District Deputy, LeRoy Brungardt passed away Sunday January 29, 2012. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 8:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. at Cline’s Mortuary of Hays, 1919 E. 22nd in Hays, KS. A vigil will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, followed by a Third and Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus rosary at 8:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday February 2, 2012 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 18th and Vine in Hays with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Hays.

(01/22/2012) State Deputy Mark Roth informs us that Dorothy McClain, wife of Former State Warden Mike McClain, is recuperating from a fractured leg suffered in a fall while hiking. (01/11/2012) State Deputy Mark Roth informs us that Past State Deputy Bill Stuhlsatz will be having surgery Monday, January 16 to place a stint in his neck to relieve fluid building on his brain. (01/05/2012) State Deputy Mark Roth informs us that Gloria Leiker, mother of District Deputy # 45, David Leiker passed away on January 4th from injuries sustained when she and David’s father, Gilbert Leiker, were hit by a car while leaving Mass on the previous evening. Wake service will be held on Sunday, January 8, from 4pm until 8pm at Brocks Northhill Chapel, 2509 Vine St, Hays, KS. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am Monday, January 9th, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Munjor, Kansas. Gilbert is expected to be released from the hospital on Saturday.
